Love the HDR. Just don't have the patience to work with three or more images, plus these days it's impossible to use a tripod everywhere. I have been run out of many places with a tripod. You'd think I had a gun or something, Therefore I use Topaz and shoot a single raw image. I process the hell out of my images with photoshop.

I have the patience, I have the software(all the HDR) for both mac and pc. I have several books on the subject and watched most every tutorial. An easier way of doing it is to do photo infusion of three images at +2 - 0 - -2 then use the Topaz. You'll get the results you want w/o the halos.
The constant breeze in SoCal prohibits a lot of macro and HDR work. I'm equipped for extreme macro, but, like you, don't have the patience.
